Physichromie Tower

A trip to the Tate Modern inspired me to create a building using an optical illusion used by the artist Carlos Cruz-Diez in his work Physichromie No. 113. Depending on your view point his work changes from a light circle on a dark
background to a dark circle on a light background. To achieve the same effect I used two cladding elements at 45 degrees to create a "saw tooth". One of the cladding panels would be dark and one light. Standing to one side the dark
panel would block your view to the light panel but standing to the other side the light panel would block your view of the dark panel.
